Anna Bilman
Anna Sorokina (artist name Anna Bilman) was born in 1989 in Sevastopol, Ukraine. In 2004, she graduated from Sevastopol Art School. In 2008 she graduated from Crimean Art School named after M. S. Samokysh, in 2012 – from the Crimean Institute of Information and Printing Technologies of the Ukrainian Academy of Printing. From 2004 to 2012 took lessons from artists. In 2013, she joined the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. In 2026, she became a member of 68elf, an association of visual artists based in Cologne.
From 2010 to 2026 participated in more than 65 local and international group exhibitions (Kyiv, Chernivtsi, Dnipro, Zhytomir, Sevastopol, Simferopol, Cologne, Kazan, London).
Works in oil painting, the author’s technique of engraving on cardboard. Engaged in painting on author’s canvas, illustration, mosaics, ceramics. Holds master-classes and creative meetings.
The works are in the collection of the Mikhail Kroshitsky Sevastopol Art Museum, the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Velimir Khlebnikov House Museum in Astrakhan and in private collections.
Since 2025, she resides in Cologne, Germany.
